Yvonne Nelson, in her published memoir, revealed that Sarkodie impregnated her in 2010 but refused to accept responsibility and urged her to have an abortion.
In response, Sarkodie released a song titled “Try Me,” stating that he was not prepared to have a child at the time but advised Yvonne to keep it. According to Sarkodie, Yvonne insisted on focusing on her education as she was still in school, so he assumed she wanted to proceed with the abortion.
