S3fa’s Controversial View: Is Releasing an Album Wasting Good Music?
Ghanaian singer S3fa, who signed with D’Black’s Black Avenue Muzik record label six years ago, has yet to release an album. She recently discussed her reasons for this in an interview with Accra 100.5 FM.

S3fa, known for her hit song “E Choke,” expressed her disappointment with Ghanaian listeners’ tendency to gravitate towards only one or two songs from an album. She questioned how many listeners truly engage with an entire album once it’s released, even in Ghana. As a result, she views albums as a potential waste of her musical creativity since people often overlook the majority of the tracks.
S3fa emphasized her commitment to creating high-quality, long-lasting music that resonates with her audience. She takes her time when working on both albums and individual songs, with the goal of ensuring that her efforts are not in vain and that people will genuinely appreciate her work.
In her own words, she stated, “I invest significant time and effort into crafting my songs and albums because I don’t want to squander my talent on something that people may not fully embrace.”
