Following his arrival, Black Sherif was taken to the police headquarters in Accra for further investigations. According to the allegations, he had been scheduled to perform on a Cruise Ship in Greece on July 4, for which he charged a fee of $40,000. Half of the payment was made to him in advance of the concert, with the remainder to be paid after the event.
Regrettably, Black Sherif did not show up in Greece for the scheduled performance, prompting the organizers to involve the police in the matter.
