Abugri attributed the accident to poor visibility on the N1 highway due to a lack of street lights and the absence of a tail light on the tipper truck. He emphasized that the situation could have been more severe if Kuami Eugene had been driving recklessly or at high speed.
Abugri mentioned that he only realized the identity of the occupants of the car, Kuami Eugene and another male passenger, upon approaching the scene to offer assistance. Several motorists who stopped at the accident scene volunteered to transport Kuami Eugene and his passenger to the hospital, while Abugri stayed behind to await the arrival of the police.
On Monday, Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene’s record label, reassured the public that the musician is currently receiving medical treatment and is showing signs of improvement.
