On Tuesday, Guinness World Records officially certified Hilda as the new record holder, acknowledging her achievement of 93 hours and 11 minutes. However, they clarified that her original claim of 100 hours was an error, as she mistakenly included extra minutes for one of her breaks early on in the attempt.
Taking to her lnstastory on Thursday, Tandon, who previously held the record, shared her joy for Hilda Baci and extended her best wishes to both her and the Nigerian people. She wrote, “Namaste Nigeria. I’m very happy for you all, and my best wishes to Hilda.”
It should be noted that Tandon had established her record in 2019 by cooking continuously for 87 hours and 45 minutes.
