MoG Beatz and DWP Academy Clash Over Promo Campaign

Music producer MoG Beatz took to Twitter to express his frustration with Ghanaian dance group DWP Academy, accusing them of failing to fulfill a campaign agreement despite receiving full payment. The dispute unfolded in a series of tweets between M.O.G Beatz and DWP’s manager, Quables on X.

M.O.G Beatz alleged that he paid the group to create and share a dance video on social media to promote one of his songs. However, after making the payment, the group failed to follow through, leading to MoG’s attempts to contact them for an update.

In response to M.O.G Beatz’s criticism, Quables explained that all members of the group fulfilled their obligations except for Afronita, a lead member who failed to post her video. Quables shared a WhatsApp message exchange with M.O.G Beatz as evidence of their position.

MoG disputed Quables’ explanation, claiming that he had received a similar response nearly a month ago. He gave the group 24 hours to address the issue, threatening legal action if they failed to do so.

Accusing Quables of omitting crucial details in their communication, MoG demanded a partial refund and vowed to expose the situation on Twitter. The exchange continued with Quables asserting that the agreement was for 12 members to share the dance video, and more than the agreed number had already done so.

MoG remained unsatisfied, expressing concern about the manager’s credibility and suggesting past issues with undisclosed A-list artists.
