During his time at Joy FM, Sammy not only hosted popular shows like Overdrive but also took on various roles, filling in for hosts on Drive Time and Showbiz A-Z. Grateful for the unwavering support and dedication of listeners, he expresses his appreciation for the shared moments and the connection forged with the audience.

His encounter with radio legend Tommy Annan Forson in 2004 marked a turning point, leading him to Citi 97.3FM, where he hosted shows like ‘Rhythms in the Citi’ and ‘Country Club.’ Noteworthy accolades and growth characterized his time at Citi FM.
Transitioning to YFM 107.9FM in 2009, Sammy gained immense popularity with ‘The Mid-Morning Show with Sammy Forson,’ securing accolades at the Ghana Radio and Television Awards and the Ghana DJ Awards.
From 2010 to 2015, he reached a pinnacle in his career as the Business Development Manager for Sarkodie/Duncwills Entertainment/Sarkcess Music, contributing significantly to Sarkodie’s success.
Joining Live 91.9FM in 2015, Sammy showcased his versatility with shows like ‘Route 919’ and ‘Lifestyle Café’ before landing at Multimedia Group in 2018. His multifaceted role at Joy FM included hosting the ‘Weekend City Show’ and ‘Ignition,’ where he connected with the audience through entertainment, comedy, and captivating discussions.
