Ghanaian and BET award-winning Rapper Sarkodie has hinted fans on 800 songs he is yet to release
The popular rapper disclosed this when speaking on YFM.
The rapper added that most of the songs were recorded during his work on his third studio album, ‘Sarkology.’
Sarkodie mentioned that this was solely done by him as that has been his skill but took a slower pace after recording these songs. At that time, it was just me recording a bunch of songs. And I just had to put them out there, because I record a lot. Now, my pace is a bit slow, but that era was just me trying to put songs out, he said.
According to the rapper, some hits songs including ‘Special Someone’ featuring Burna Boy and the late AKA, ‘Down on One’, ‘Pon D Ting’, ‘Bounce’ and ‘Devil In Me’ form part of his songs on the LP.
Sarkodie also explained that his prowess came play during this period which led to his ability to record many songs. It was an era where I was recording too much. I knew myself, if I halted that music it will never come out. From that time till now, I still have almost close to 800 songs unreleased, he mentioned to the host Kojo Manuel.
