TESLA CEO Elon Musk overtakes Amazon boss Jeff Bezos to Become the Richest Person in the World
Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk is now officially the world’s richest person.
With a net worth of more than $185billion (£136billion), Musk has overtaken Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos – who is currently worth around $184billion (£135billion) – to become the richest person on the planet.

While Amazon’s share price has remained steady over the past year, Tesla’s has increased more than nine-fold.
On Wednesday (January 6), Tesla hit a market value of $700bn (£516bn) for the first time – making it worth more than Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, GM, and Ford combined.
