Beyoncé won Best Music Video at the 2021 Grammy Awards which featured Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid, SAINt JHN, and Her Daughter, Blue Ivy. Her visual for “Brown Skin Girl” took home the award over videos by Future and Drake (“Life Is Good”), Harry Styles, (“Adore You”), Anderson. Paak (“Lockdown”), and Woodkid (“Goliath”).
It marks the first Grammy Award for Wizkid, SAINt JHN, and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy. Jenn Nkiru co-directed the video.
Beyoncé is up for eight other awards at tonight’s Grammys: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song for “BLACK PARADE,” plus Record of the Year for “Savage” (with Megan Thee Stallion, and Best Music Film (for Black Is King).
